Food Production Preparation – Shellfish & Pork Products

Location: Redditch
Salary: £12.71/hour + £6.5 per day bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday, 14:00 – 22:30 

About the Role:

We are looking for reliable and motivated Food Production Prep staff to join our team on a temporary-to-permanent basis.

The role involves preparing sauces and ingredients in a fast-paced food production environment. Tasks may include weighing, mixing, handling raw products, and following written instructions.

You may be required to work with hot ingredients during sauce preparation and handle raw meat and seafood products. Equipment will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare ingredients following instructions.

• Handle and mix hot sauces safely as part of the production process

• Manual handling of ingredients and raw materials.

• Safely operate production machinery.

• Correctly label products.

• Maintain excellent hygiene and housekeeping standards.

• Carry out quality checks throughout the shift.

• Support your team and work to deadlines.

Requirements:

• Experience in food production or preparation preferred but not essential.

• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.

• Strong attention to detail and reliability.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to handle shellfish and pork products.

• Able to understand workplace processes and follow instructions.

• Punctual and dependable.
