What the role carries

Leading implementation and auditing of the Business Compliance Standards and internal audit programmes across all sites, driving best practice and continuous improvement. Partner with senior leadership and suppliers to maintain food safety and due diligence standards, in place and maintained. Own food safety, legality, due diligence, and product integrity across the supply base, ensuring consistently safe and compliant products in Retail outlets.

What the role depends on

• Proven Auditor/Assessor experience with Advanced Food Hygiene and HACCP Level 3–4 certification.
• Experience working across multiple food categories (including produce), multi-site operations, and with major retailers and foodservice customers.
• Experience working in a food retail environment and knowledge of FS requirements for food retailers.

Practical details

• Food manufacturing/storage audit: 5 years (required).
• Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm, 37.5 hours per week (flexibility will be required at times due to the nature of the role to travel across our estate and visit retail shops).
• Working closely with Retail Operation Managers, Area Sales Manager, Senior Management Team.
• Also sit on the site senior management team, contributing to operational decision-making and aligning technical priorities with commercial objectives.
