Footwear Assistant

As a Footwear Assistant, the work centres on technical Documentation: Support the Technologist by documenting fitting reports, taking clear photos of issues, and completing supporting documents from Proto stage through to bul. It would suit someone who can bring careful technical judgement and practical problem-solving to the role.

Where the work sits

Hybrid working in our historic East London studios, working hours are 9-5.30pm. The Footwear Assistant provides essential support to the footwear team, focusing on the technical integrity, fit, and quality of all All.

How the role works day to day

Technical Documentation: Support the Technologist by documenting fitting reports, taking clear photos of issues, and completing supporting documents from Proto stage through to bul. Fit & Wearer Trials: Assist in issuing wearer trials and collating feedback to ensure footwear meets comfort and performance standards. Update technical google sheets including the Last Library, Boot Upper Measurements, Materials Database, and BOMs.

What needs to be in place

• Technical Interest: A passionate interest in footwear technology, construction, and the "science" behind a great fit.
• Entry-level experience or a relevant qualification in footwear technology.
• Basic understanding of footwear construction, fit, grading and manufacturing processes.
