What the role involves

• Leading HV switching, isolations, and safety documentation.
• Managing the electrical package across BESS, substations, transformers, and grid infrastructure.
• Coordinating subcontractors, OEMs, commissioning, and energisation.
• Supporting grid compliance (G99, G5/5) and interface with DNOs/IDNOs.

Skills and requirements

• Proven experience as an SAP in HV environments.
• Electrical engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree).

Additional role context

• Scotland (Central Belt Sites).
• 66kV (132kV desirable).
• Act as SAP up to 33kV.
