Freight Agent focuses on to monitor and administrate freight collections and deliveries, plus manage on the road transport operations to ensure successful completion.

What the role involves

• To monitor and administrate freight collections and deliveries, plus manage on the road transport operations to ensure successful completion.
• Liaise with customers on a regular basis to monitor.
• Process consignments and solve any operational problems.
• Keeping internal communications with other DHL Freight partner as necessary.
• Update data on company systems.
• Ensure shipping process is carried out in line with the company's processes and quality procedures.

Skills and requirements

• One year Logistics office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of UK/European road transport geography preferred.
• Some warehouse interaction required.
