Education skills and requirements

• Hold a teaching qualification and, where applicable, relevant subject specialist qualification - with a commitment to obtain the outstanding qualification within 12 months.
• Hold a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy.
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)/ Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) or commit to work towards within a specified timeframe (*Applies to Teachers in YOI only*).

Job details

• We have a great opportunity available to join Novus, our prison education provider at HMP/YOI Stoke Heath, working as Teacher and providing permanent cover for Functional Skills En.
• This position is offered on a full-time, permanent basis, working 37hrs per week in a cover capacity.
• 40 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays.
