Funding Accountant

Funding Accountant focuses on work alongside project managers to ensure that milestones, outputs, and kpis are met, while also supporting budget forecasting and quarterly reforecasting activities.

What the role involves

• Work alongside project managers to ensure that milestones, outputs, and KPIs are met, while also supporting budget forecasting and quarterly reforecasting activities.
• Support cash flow forecasting to ensure funding is received promptly.
• Be part of a collaborative and supportive team, with the opportunity to build strong relationships across the business and with external partners.

Skills and requirements

• 3-5 years' experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interrogate and interpret data.
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Confirmed role details

• Up to £37,000 per annum.
• Fixed Term: 24 Months.

• We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Funding Accountant to join our finance team in Blyth.
• Build relationships with project managers, external stakeholders, and auditors, becoming a trusted partner in delivering successful, compliant projects.
• Also reconcile project finances within the accounting system.
