Skills and requirements

• QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience working with children or young people in the UK.
• Experience supporting SEN learners (highly desirable).
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training (preferred, but not essential).

Confirmed role details

• Type of work: Temporary.
• Maximum 3 hours per session.
• Part-time or full-time (dependent on your availability).
• Pay: From £25 per hour.

Additional role context

• Prospero Teaching is seeking a qualified Outreach Tutor to provide 1:1 afterschool tuition in Maths and/or English to young people in the Bromley area.
• Deliver personalised lessons designed to rebuild confidence, bridge learning gaps, and re-engage pupils with education.
• Prospero Teaching will support you throughout the placement, working closely with you to monitor pupil progress.
