• 6 months working in UK schools.
• Experience tutoring or teaching (school, intervention, tuition centre, or mentoring).
• Ability to build positive relationships with students.
• A current enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).

Confirmed role details

• Days/Times: Tuesday, Thursday & Friday – 12:30-14:30.
• Calm, consistent approach with strong rapport‑building skills.
• Confidence teaching GCSE English and Maths content.
• 4 hours per week (potential increase to 6 hours).

Additional role context

• We are seeking a patient and adaptable tutor to deliver 6 hours per week of English and Maths tuition to a Year 11 student with an EHCP and SEMH needs.
• The student is working at a mid‑ to low‑ability level and will benefit from structured, confidence‑building teaching that supports core GCSE skills at an accessible pace.
• Provide English and Maths tuition to a Year 11 student with SEMH needs whose school attendance has been low.
