Care Assistant focuses on cleaning: maintain cleanliness in residents' bedrooms, communal areas, toilets, and facilities, to ensure they are clean and welcoming.

What the role involves

• Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness in residents' bedrooms, communal areas, toilets, and facilities, to ensure they are clean and welcoming.
• Assist our residents with eating and drinking, clear/reset tables, stack dishwasher and keep dining areas tidy.
• Supporting with laundry tasks when needed, with full training provided.
• Accompany residents: Escort residents to their appointments, making sure they feel comfortable and safe.
• Build relationships: Establish positive connections with our residents, their families, and your colleagues, whilst sharing our commitment to creating an inclusive culture.
• Commitment to excellence: Carry out all tasks to the highest possible standard.

Skills and requirements

• Joining our supportive team at Marlfield residential and nursing care home as a General Assistant, you’ll play an essential role in the everyday running of our home.
• No experience necessary – we provide all the training you need to be a General Assistant.

• £24,796 - £25,128 pro-rata, per annum.
