What the role involves

• Assisting with a range of agricultural tasks, helping to maintain high standards of productivity, safety and animal or crop welfare.
• Carry out general farm duties as directed by the Farm Manager or Foreman.
• Assisting with planting, cultivating, irrigating and harvesting crops.
• Maintaining farm machinery and equipment safely and effectively.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs to farm buildings, machinery and infrastructure.
• Assisting with livestock care, including feeding, bedding, handling and welfare checks where applicable.

Skills and requirements

• Basic mechanical, maintenance or repair skills advantageous.
• All applicants must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2, Scottish NVQ Level 2, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role applied for.
• Candidates must also have the legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa permitting employment.
