General Foreman focuses on supervising and coordinating daily site activities and workforce.

What the role involves

• Supervising and coordinating daily site activities and workforce.
• Managing direct labour and subcontractors to maintain productivity and quality.
• Ensuring works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications and programme.
• Leading by example on health, safety and environmentalpliance.
• Conducting daily briefings, toolbox talks and site inductions.
• Monitoring progress and reporting issues or delays to site management.

Skills and requirements

• Proven experience as a Foreman within heavy civils, ideally on large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of civils works, including drainage, groundworks and reinforced concrete.
• CSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS and First Aid.
• Full UK driving licence.
