Who the work supports

The role is to provide general kitchen assistance to support the smooth running of practical teaching sessions and Restaurant Service. NVQ Level 2 Qualification in a Catering & Hospitality or industry related qualification (or willingness to undertake appropriate training).

Maintaining high levels of hygiene during kitchen and restaurant preparation / clean down and a clean and safe working environment, complying with Health and Safety regulations. Maintaining correct storage of foodstuffs, beverages, equipment and materials within stores in accordance with the requirements of college procedures and Health and Safety.

What needs to be in place

• Clean and maintain equipment as planned, required or requested to ensure smooth running of catering and hospitality department, receiving relevant training as and when necessary.
• Welsh Oracy (Listening/Speaking) - Level 0/1 Desirable.
• Welsh Literacy (Writing/Reading) - Level 0/1 Desirable.

Job details

• Receive 28 days holiday, plus bank holidays and five closure days which totals at 41 days holiday per year. You also receive an additional 4 days after 5 years service.
