General Maintenance Operative / Caretaker focuses on carrying out general building maintenance and fabric repairs across site.

What the role involves

• Carrying out general building maintenance and fabric repairs across site.
• Conducting routine inspections including fire doors, fire stopping and water systems (L8 checks).
• Responding to reactive maintenance issues and making them safe.
• Supporting planned preventative maintenance activities to ensure compliance.
• Working collaboratively within a small team and providing cover when required.
• Participating in a 24/7 on-call rota (following initial training period).
