Job description

We are looking for a General Maintenance Operative in Pool / Redruth.

About The Role

Location: Pool / Redruth - Cornwall


Typical tasks include, but not limited to:

  • Mobile Plant works – Replacing blades, wipers, etc
  • Site facilities works – Drilling, signage/netting, plumbing, brickwork, doors/handles, locks, barriers
  • Stores / stock audits
  • Carpentry skills and general DIY related skills beneficial.

    • Your experience and background:

  • General DIY – Building works, Plumbing, woodwork, etc
  • Good with Hand tools & power tools – drills, grinders, jigsaw
  • Safety Conscious as sole worker on tasks
  • Some formal Qualifications would be ideal – NVQ in Mechanical works/fitting/Joinery
  • Welding would be beneficial, but not essential
  • Self motivated
