As a General Practice Accountant, you will manage full-cycle accounting functions, including financial reporting, tax compliance, and client advisory services. Responsibilities:

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS standards.

Manage end-to-end client accounting cycles, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.

Prepare and file VAT returns, PAYE, and CT600 tax returns with accuracy and timeliness.

Deliver precise tax computations and support corporate and personal tax planning initiatives.

Engage directly with clients to collect financial data, resolve discrepancies, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Support audit and assurance engagements through internal reviews and coordination with external auditors.

Assist in preparing management accounts and financial analysis to inform client decision-making.

Stay current with evolving tax legislation, accounting standards, and compliance requirements.

Contribute to business development by identifying opportunities for value-added services.

Mentor junior team members and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality client work.
