Generator Engineer focuses on carry out routine servicing on a wide range of generator systems.

What the role involves

• Carry out routine servicing on a wide range of generator systems.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs across electrical and mechanical components.
• Respond to breakdowns as the first engineer Onsite.
• Complete remedial works and system upgrades where required.
• Use diagnostic software such as ComAp PC Suite.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety and company standards.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant technical, electrical, mechanical, maintenance, gas, plumbing, or engineering experience may be required.

• Be responsible for servicing and maintaining generators ranging from 10kVA to 2MVA , working across a mix of planned maintenance, remedial work, and emergency breakdown response.
