What the role involves

• Deliver engaging and differentiated Geography lessons.
• Inspire students to develop a passion for the world around them.
• Report on student progress in line with school policies.
• Contribute to curriculum development within the Humanities department.
• Supporting the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities and trips.
• Opportunities to lead extracurricular activities and fieldwork experiences.

Skills and requirements

• All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

Confirmed role details

• Full-time, Permanent.
• All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
• In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.

Candidate fit

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Have a strong subject knowledge of Geography.
• Be passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
