GP wSI Dermatology focuses on provide expert dermatology consultations for a range of skin conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, and skin infections.

What the role involves

• Provide expert dermatology consultations for a range of skin conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, and skin infections.
• Manage both common and complex dermatological conditions within the scope of primary care dermatology.
• Identify and refer patients requiring specialist secondary care input, including suspected skin cancers.
• Manage dermatological treatments in line with current clinical guidelines and best practices, including topical and systemic therapies.
• Supporting and educate patients on skin health, treatment plans, and preventative measures.
• Ensure high standards of clinical governance , including accurate documentation, audit participation, and compliance with MedHub policies and CQC requirements.

Skills and requirements

• Must live within 1 hour of the clinic location.
• GMC registration with a licence to practise in the UK.
• Postgraduate training or certification in dermatology (e.g., a Postgraduate Diploma or MSc in Dermatology, or equivalent experience).
• Experience in primary care dermatology and managing a wide range of skin conditions.
