What the role involves
- Assisting with data archive and data repository management, ensuring safe storage of a large variety of data formats.
- Assisting with mobilisations and equipment verifications under guidance.
- Assisting with notifying software manufacturers of any bugs.
- Reporting preparation based on geophysical survey data and interpretation.
- Assist in maintaining quality and consistency of field data, data processing, deliverable creation, and data management.
- Assisting Processing and reporting managers with reporting, charting & data management.
Skills and requirements
- Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject such as Geology, Geophysics or other related marine or earth science.
- Understanding of data management and required coordination skills to handle large volumes of data.
- Highly competent in the use of all Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel.
- Full valid UK driving license.
