What the role involves

  • Support our arborist teams across South Oxfordshire.
  • Supporting climbers and arborists with all aspects of tree work.
  • Operate machinery such as wood chippers and chainsaws (where qualified).
  • Managing ropes, rigging support, and ground operations during tree work.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe worksite at all times.
  • Assisting with site setup, including signage and traffic/pedestrian management.

Skills and requirements

  • This is a hands on, outdoor role suited to someone with at least 1 year of relevant experience, who holds the necessary tickets and takes pride in maintaining safe and efficient wo.
  • All applicants must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2, Scottish NVQ Level 2, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role applied for.
  • Candidates must also have the legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa permitting employment.
