Group Financial Accountant
Group Financial Accountant focuses on preparing and consolidate monthly group management accounts, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery to external parties.
What the role involves
- Preparing and consolidate monthly group management accounts, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery to external parties.
- Maintaining and reconcile intercompany balances, ensuring correct processing of elimination entries during consolidation.
- Take full ownership of IFRS 16 accounting and reporting.
- Leading the preparation of statutory accounts for all group entities under FRS 102, including documentation of accounting treatments.
- Provide insightful financial analysis and commentary on group performance to senior leadership.
- Preparing and submit VAT returns for all entities and act as the main point of contact for VAT-related queries.
Skills and requirements
- Joining a dynamic and fast-paced retail group with over 40 years of experience in the toy industry, you will play a pivotal role within the finance function.
- Strong technical working knowledge of IFRS16.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working with business stakeholders and external parties.
