Group Head of Recoveries and Salvage focuses on leading global operations, partner with vendors and business units, embeds governance frameworks.

What the role involves

• Leading global operations, partner with vendors and business units, embeds governance frameworks.
• Drive innovation through technology, analytics, AI and scalable solutions.
• Develop and implement strategies to maximise claim recoveries and minimise leakage.
• Champion governance and controls to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and external/internal policies.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and subrogation specialists, to optimise outcomes.
• Driving alignment globally across business units through process improvements and technology solutions.

Skills and requirements

• Extensive experience in claims subrogation and salvage in a global capacity (10+ years, with leadership roles). Those with less years but the right level of knowledge will naturall.
• Exposure to recoveries monitoring systems (in house or vendors) with a good understanding of how to transform and/or implement within an organisation and 3rd party suppliers.
• Resilience and adaptability to lead through change.
• Excellent analytical skills, leveraging data and insights to drive decisions.

Confirmed role details

• London or York – Hybrid (minimum 2 days in the office).

• Lead the Claims recoveries and salvage operations across the Group.
• The ability to think creatively but be able to effectively implement solutions.
