What the role involves
- Delivering clinical care across haematology inpatient wards, outpatient clinics, and chemotherapy services.
- Supporting the emergency assessment bay and acute admissions.
- Assisting in the management of haematological and oncological emergencies.
- Participate in clinical trials and research activity.
- Contribute to teaching of junior doctors and medical students.
- Engage in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiatives.
Skills and requirements
- Full GMC registration with Licence to Practise.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in General Medicine.
- Ability to manage acute and complex patients.
- Experience in teaching and training junior staff.
