What the role involves

  • Delivering clinical care across haematology inpatient wards, outpatient clinics, and chemotherapy services.
  • Supporting the emergency assessment bay and acute admissions.
  • Assisting in the management of haematological and oncological emergencies.
  • Participate in clinical trials and research activity.
  • Contribute to teaching of junior doctors and medical students.
  • Engage in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiatives.

Skills and requirements

  • Full GMC registration with Licence to Practise.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in General Medicine.
  • Ability to manage acute and complex patients.
  • Experience in teaching and training junior staff.
