HE Quality Assurance Co-ordinator focuses on supporting core higher education quality processes, including boards of examiners, annual monitoring and internal reviews.
What the role involves
- Supporting core Higher Education quality processes, including Boards of Examiners, annual monitoring and internal reviews.
- Supporting student-related processes such as mitigation, academic misconduct and appeals, ensuring fairness and consistency.
- Leading on the collection, analysis and reporting of the student voice, including internal surveys and national surveys where applicable.
- Liaise with External Examiners and partner institutions to ensure requirements are met and actions are followed through.
- Maintaining clear, accurate quality records and a Higher Education quality calendar, supporting readiness for audit.
- Work with curriculum and quality colleagues to share good practice.
Skills and requirements
- A degree (or equivalent) and evidence of ongoing professional development.
- Experience of quality assurance processes within Higher Education or a comparable education setting.
- Working knowledge of the UK Higher Education regulatory and quality environment (for example OfS and QAA).
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
