Head Chef
Job description
This Head Chef role is focused on maintaining high levels of personal hygiene and kitchen presentation. It would suit someone who can bring supporting kitchen leadership, service flow, and food quality across service-by-service operations to the role.
Who the work supports
As Head Chef, you will oversee the full operation of a busy kitchen, managing a team of 7 chefs. Take ownership of menu planning and design, purchasing, stock control, staff training, rostering and ensuring consistently high-quality food standards.
How support shows up
Maintaining high levels of personal hygiene and kitchen presentation. Overseeing hygiene procedures and ensure accurate documentation. Managing menu costing, planning and pricing to deadlines.

What needs to be in place
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a busy kitchen, including at least 2 years in a senior role.
- NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Food Preparation and Cooking (or equivalent).
- Proven experience leading and developing a kitchen team.
