What the role involves

• Ensure all equipment used in the kitchen and dining room is clean and hygienic.
• Ensure any special dietary instructions are correctly followed.

Skills and requirements

• Preparation of the staff restaurant and vending areas for service as required.
• Assisting in the assembly and distribution of patient meals where required ensuring that temperatures of food are monitored and recorded.
• Operation of the dishwashing machine as required.

Confirmed role details

• 37.5 hours per week on a shift basis (Monday Sunday).
• £25,400.16 Annual salary (FTE) pro rata.

Additional role context

• The team provides nutritious and enticing meals for up to 36 young people some of which could be being supported to overcome an eating disorder.
• Ivetsey Bank Hospital is a Tier 4 Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) hospital for young people aged 12-18.
• To work closely with the catering team ensuring a high quality food service for the patients.
