Your new role

As the Head ofpliance in London, you will take full ownership of the firm’spliance framework, ensuring it remains effective, proportionate, and fully aligned with FCA requirements. You will act as the primary point of contact for all regulatory matters, providing strategic guidance to the Board and senior leadership while embedding a strong culture ofpliance across the organisation. The role involves leading the development and continuous improvement of thepliance strategy, overseeing regulatory reporting and monitoring activity, and offering expert advice on key regulatory areas including SMCR, Consumer Duty, and conduct risk. You will manage and mentor a high‑performingpliance team, build strong relationships with regulators and external stakeholders, and support business change initiatives to ensure regulatory alignment. Throughout, you will deliver clear,mercially awarepliance guidance that supports the organisation’s long‑term objectives.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this London Head ofpliance role, you will bring extensive experience within the insurance sector and a strong understanding of the UK regulatory landscape. You will have a proven track record of shapingpliance strategy, influencing senior stakeholders, and managing regulatory relationships at a senior level.
