How the role works day to day

Inspire and manage: Lead a talented team across Edinburgh, Birmingham, and London, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. Leading with impact: Oversee the completion and submission of all UK (and some overseas) corporate tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. Advise and influence: Working alongside the Deputy Group Tax Director to deliver high quality advice to the business in a commercial context.

What needs to be in place

• Solid experience of the taxation of life companies, together with an in depth knowledge of corporation tax.
• A dynamic leader with a proven track record in UK corporate tax compliance and deep knowledge of UK life company taxation.
• Tax or accounting professional qualification (e.g. ACA/CTA or equivalent).
