Head of Counselling focuses on overseeing the day-to-day running of the counselling department.

What the role involves

• Overseeing the day-to-day running of the counselling department.
• Monitoring service quality, KPIs, and operational performance.
• Analysing trends and identify areas for improvement.
• Supporting performance management and action planning.
• Overseeing complaints, escalations, and service concerns.
• Ensure safeguarding and risk procedures are consistently followed.

Skills and requirements

• BACP accredited, or actively working towards accreditation.
• Previous leadership or management experience within counselling services.
• Experience within helpline, EAP, or high-volume counselling services is desirable.

Confirmed role details

• £43,000 to £50,000 + Benefits.
• Full Time, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
