Head of Data & Analytics

Head of Data & Analytics focuses on leadership of the data & analytics organisation, with full oversight of data governance, architecture and analytics. (at a later stage, building out the data science practice).

What the role involves

• Leadership of the Data & Analytics Organisation, with full oversight of Data Governance, Architecture and Analytics. (At a later stage, building out the Data science practice).
• Take the lead in data opportunity sourcing, working closely with the D&A strategy group to prioritise.
• ­Oversee the development and deployment of data and analytics COE. Expand the analytics offerings, especially in emerging analytical approaches, skills and technologies.
• Develop and publish D&A Governance framework. Define.
• Ensure an adequate information trust model, controls for master data and metadata management, including reference data.
• ­In partnership with the Head of Data Governance.

Skills and requirements

• ­Experience from within the London Insurance Market or General Insurance.
• University Degree and/or relevant professional qualification.
