The Head of Discipline (Tunnel Civil and Underground Engineering) position with COWI. It would suit someone who can bring strong leadership and operational judgement to the role.

Where the work sits

Significant experience guiding project teams and handling the technical delivery of projects, either as client's or contractor's designer. Lead on the recruitment of new employees into your team as a hiring manager, in alignment with the discipline growth strategy.

How the role works day to day

Supporting our Discipline Leadership Team by communicating and role-modelling leadership messages and encouraging a high-performance, diverse and inclusive culture. Leading a team of civil and structural engineers as part of our Tunnel, Civil and Underground Engineering discipline. You will have responsibility for their technical and professional. Working closely with our linked team, permanently on the Lower Thames Crossing project, to align skills and integration.

• Experience as an effective people leader, able to communicate effectively, engage and lead a team of civil, structural and tunnel engineers, supporting their performance and profes.
• Experience in a similar role with technical, commercial, business development and line management responsibilities.
