Head of Estates

The Head of Estates position centres on developing and deliver prioritised action plans that support continuous improvement across Facilities & Capital Projects. It would suit someone who can bring a skilled communicator, confident when dealing with senior colleagues, their own teams, a range of stakeholders and contractors to the role.

What the work leans on

This is a highly influential position, shaping how NHS Golden Jubilee maintains safe, compliant, and future‑proof environments across a complex and evolving estate. Will be responsible for ensuring national and statutory requirements and for maintaining all aspects of statutory compliance.

• Develop and deliver prioritised action plans that support continuous improvement across Facilities & Capital Projects.

Technical requirements

• Experience in supporting the implementation of estates strategy as part of an estates management team.
• An appropriate accredited Bachelor’s degree at honours level.
• Experience in providing an estates service within large scale complex environments, preferably healthcare, including experience as Designated/Responsible person roles for specialis.
