As a Head of Finance in London, the work centres on overseeing the preparation of financial accounts, forecasting and the financial aspects of large-scale project and programme budgets, ensuring robust reporting and monitoring. Role overview
Lead, manage and continually improve the organisation’s finance function, including training, developing and supporting the finance team. OverviewWe are currently partnering with a Not for profit organisation based in London, who are recruiting for a Head of Finance on a permanent basis.
Main responsibilities
Overseeing the preparation of financial accounts, forecasting and the financial aspects of large-scale project and programme budgets, ensuring robust reporting and monitoring. Act as the Executive Lead for the Finance, Audit and Risk Committee, preparing and presenting papers as required and working closely with governance and HR colleagues. Monitoring cash flow and reserves and analyse performance against the organisation’s business plan and financial dashboard.

Requirements
- Skilled in developing and enhancing financial reporting tools and systems, with the ability to coach and support others in their use.
- Must hold a formally recognised professional accounting qualification.
- Be fully qualified with experience working within the not for profit sector.
Job details
