As a Head of IT and Learning Technologies, the work centres on supporting curriculum and service areas in the delivery of the College strategy, strategic action plans and departmental business plans. It would suit someone who can bring strong leadership and operational judgement to the role.

Role overview

This role is responsible for agreeing and achieving targets in relation to EDI, curriculum planning, quality, finance, people and corporate services. His is an extremely rewarding role where youwill be responsible for the leadership and management of all aspects of IT Services across Bradford College.

Main responsibilities

Supporting curriculum and service areas in the delivery of the College strategy, strategic action plans and departmental business plans. Leading the IT Team to collaborate with academic and support staff to implement and continuously review the needs of staff and students. Managing the performance of all staff within the department.

Job details

• GCSE 4 – 9 or equivalent in Maths, or a willingness to work towards this within a given time frame.
• Line management experience in a technical environment.
• Detailed knowledge of current Cyber Security threats and mitigations.
• Significant technical skills across a variety of different infrastructure, network and security technologies.
