What the role involves

• Own and execute the mobile roadmap , aligning engineering with product strategy, commercial goals, and faster time-to-market.
• Build, structure, and scale a high-performing mobile team , including hiring, team design (pods/squads), and leadership development.
• Drive technical architecture across Android and iOS, ensuring long-term scalability, maintainability, and performance.
• Build vs. buy decisions for mobile tooling and services.
• Partner closely with senior leadership, product, and external stakeholders to ensure strong business and technical alignment.
• Ensure security, privacy, and compliance standards are met across all mobile platforms at scale.

Skills and requirements

• Improve app performance, stability, and user experience , with a strong focus on quality at scale.
• Experience building and scaling high-traffic mobile apps.
• Kotlin Multiplatform or other cross-platform experience.
• Significant impact on product direction and user experience.

Additional role context

• Remain hands-on when needed —contributing to code reviews, solving complex technical challenges, and supporting delivery.
• Champion engineering excellence , driving best practices, modern development approaches, and continuous improvement.
• 8+ years in mobile engineering, with 2+ years leading teams.
