• Leading the development and execution of the operational risk strategy across global trading and operational activities.
• Managing and developing an international operational risk team, driving collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Overseeing incident management processes, including investigations, root cause analysis, and lessons learned reporting.
• Maintain key risk indicators (KRIs), governance reporting, and operational risk metrics for senior management.
• Partnering with stakeholders across the business to strengthen controls, improve processes.
• Support risk-aware decision making.

Skills and requirements

• Strong operational risk experience within commodities trading, marine fuels, energy, or related trading environments.
• Background in risk, audit, compliance, assurance, or internal controls within fast-paced commercial organisations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Experience leading teams and driving operational and cultural change across international businesses.
