Health and Safety Advisor focuses on monitor performance against health, safety & wellbeing objectives across construction and capital projects.

What the role involves

  • Monitor performance against Health, Safety & Wellbeing objectives across construction and capital projects.
  • Provide expert H&S advice to project and site teams, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice.
  • Leading site inspections, audits, hazard management, and root cause investigations.
  • Actively drive improvements to safety standards and working practices across sites.
  • Coach and mentor project managers and supervisors to strengthen safety leadership capability.
  • Provide technical expertise across high-risk construction activities including CDM, temporary works, excavations, service avoidance, site set-up, and hazardous substances.

Skills and requirements

  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (pool cars are available from central location).
