This Health and Safety Advisor opportunity is built around supporting young children through safe routines, learning activities, and shift-by-shift care. It would suit someone who can bring warm, reliable, and clear in communication to the role.
How the role is set up
As a Health and Safety Advisor, you will support the delivery of a comprehensive, proactive health and safety service across both Trusts. Providing day-to-day supervision and support to junior health and safety staff where required.

Warm, reliable, and clear in communication.
What is expected
- Experience of working within a care/ healthcare/NHS environment.
- A recognised qualification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g. NEBOSH Certificate) or significant demonstrable relevant experience.
- Experience of completing risk assessments, inspections, audits or incident investigations.
Job details
- Supporting managers with accident and incident investigations, and trend analysis to drive learning and improvement.
- Supporting the development and review of health and safety policies, guidance and promotional campaigns.
- Promoting a positive health and safety culture across all services and staff groups.
- Undertaking health and safety audits, inspections and workplace assessments.
