Health & Safety Advisor focuses on assisting the safety manager in the maintaining aviation sector qhse procedures.
What the role involves
- Assisting the Safety Manager in the maintaining aviation sector QHSE procedures.
- Implement QHSE policies changes, in conjunction with the QHSE department.
- Collaborate closely with operational teams to ensure safety concerns are addressed effectively and in a timely manner.
- Supporting investigation of incidents and accidents, preparing detailed reports and recommendations to prevent recurrence.
- Supporting the delivery of proactive strategies to enhance safety outcomes.
- Maintaining knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and standards to ensure ABM Aviation stays at the forefront of safety management.
Skills and requirements
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Maintain professional and proactive relationships with the organisation, our client base and the Aviation Management peer group.
- Full clean UK driving licence or other accepted licence.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in aviation safety or a similar role.
Confirmed role details
- Full Time, 40 hours per week, Permanent.
- 24/7 GP: Both you and your immediate family can speak to a UK-based GP from the comfort of your own home.
- Support: Online chat or telephone service for urgent support in a crisis.
