Health & Safety Manager focuses on ensure business compliance with the health and safety at work act 1974 and all associated regulations applicable to abel & cole.

What the role involves

  • Ensure business compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and all associated Regulations applicable to Abel & Cole.
  • Maintain the company’s Health & Safety policy (including statement of intent, organisational H&S roles and responsibilities and general H&S management arrangements).
  • Maintaining and improve the company’s H&S management system(s) in line with legislative requirements, company policies and best practice.
  • Manage risk assessments across multiple sites and teams ranging from Operations Warehousing to home delivery.
  • Manage the operational safety performance of the company.
  • Manage a regular audit, inspection, monitoring and reporting program across all business sites and depots.

Skills and requirements

  • Proven track record of leading on change and improving H&S culture and performance.
