What the role involves
- Ensure compliance and assurance with relevant UK HSE legislation, focusing mainly on CDM Regulations 2015.
- Ensure that RRSL Control of Contractor requirements and standards are fulfilled.
- Carry out site audits and inspections of construction related activities.
- Ensure investigations are closed out working with the Project Management team to raise awareness and culture.
- Support to project teams on safe working practices.
- Provide expert guidance.
Skills and requirements
- Proven experience in HSE roles in fissile environments, construction, utilities, site wide enabling works and major infrastructure projects.
- In-depth knowledge and application of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
- In depth knowledge and application of the Nuclear Licence Condition Handbook.
- Strong track record of conducting audits, producing reports and identifying practical solutions.
