What you’ll do on a typical day:

Responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and visitors, ensuring the contract is operating within health and safety legal requirements and in line with the company policies and procedures
• Strong leadership and influencing skills to drive a culture of continuous improvement
• Facilitate implementation of corrective actions and preventative actions where required
• Participate and support in investigations to facilitate closure of identified non conformances

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Holder of a NEBOSH general certification is required
• Analytical thinking to identify root causes of incidents and develop practical solutions
• Ability and confidence to influence senior stakeholders on all aspects of health and safety
• Proven experience managing Health and Safety
