Healthcare Assistant focuses on assisting with keeping the department clean and tidy, cleaning of equipment, adhering to infection prevention and control policy and hospital procedures at all times.

What the role involves

• Assisting with keeping the department clean and tidy, cleaning of equipment, adhering to infection prevention and control policy and hospital procedures at all times.

Skills and requirements

• Participate in basic wound care management as required.
• Minimum GCSE education or equivalent.
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent preferred.
• Ward and/or Outpatient healthcare experience in a hospital environment.
