Healthcare Assistant focuses on we provide individualised assessment and intensive rehabilitation to help people recover from a brain injury.

What the role involves

• We provide individualised assessment and intensive rehabilitation to help people recover from a brain injury.
• Build relationships with patients, which are open and two way.
• Supporting patients to undertake their rehabilitation programme.
• Assisting patients with mealtimes where necessary.
• Supporting with activities of daily living and personal care when needed.
• Accurately report and/or record work activities.

Skills and requirements

• Experience working within the care sector.
• Undergo an Enhanced DBS.
• We also want to ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable facilities to participate in job applications or interviews to perform essential job functions.

• Murdostoun Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre provides specialist care for up to 46 residents at any one time.
• A specially designed therapy kitchen allows users to learn new skills that will serve them long after they have left our care.
