The job holder must be an experienced Class 1 Artic Driver. Current Class 1 driving licence essential.

Ensuring that all transport compliance, legislation and in-house procedures are complied with at all times. Performing Daily vehicles checks / defect reporting. Carrying out all driving duties in a safe manner as instructed by the Transport Manager.

What the role depends on

• Good geographical knowledge of the operational area covered by the Company.
• ADR certified would be a distinct advantage or willing to obtain.
• Holder of digital tachograph card.

• Will involve using Curtainsiders, Hooklift Trailers, Tankers and Bulk Tippers.
• As the face of our business, the jobholder will ensure full compliance with all legislation regarding drivers activities and make every effort to ensure that all customers receive.
• Reporting directly to the Transport Manager, the job holder will be responsible for assisting in the safe and efficient operation of the Companys waste and recycling collection ser.
