What the role involves

• To support customer demand, we are currently seeking a HGV Class 1 Driver at our Hams Hall depot.
• Ensure the vehicle is legal and roadworthy at all times - all daily checks are completed, and any vehicle defects are reported.
• Ensure the correct goods have been loaded and are secure before moving the vehicle.
• Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries in a timely manner and in accordance with the law (including drivers working time regulations).
• Double check deliveries with the customer whilst providing a polite and helpful experience. Obtain relevant signatures and paperwork before returning to your home depot.
• Someone with a C+E driving licence, a valid in date DigiTacho and CPC.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant licence, warehouse, driving, stock, or operations experience may be required.

Confirmed role details

• HGV Class 1 Driver: Monday - Friday Nights (Start times around 05:00).
• £16.54 per hour, plus a night shift allowance of £55.00 per week, paid weekly.
• Overtime rate after 39 hours worked each week is paid at time and a half.
