What the role involves

• Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) HGVs on night trunking and general haulage routes.
• Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting defects promptly.
• Plan and follow efficient routes using GPS and digital tachograph systems.
• Complete up to 2–3 drops per shift, primarily depot-to-depot or trunking runs- No handball.

Skills and requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence, UK CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience driving Class 1 HGV vehicles.
• Maximum 6 points on licence.
