HGV Class 1 Driver

This HGV Class 1 Driver role is focused on conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness. It would suit someone who can bring dependable and self-motivated on the road to the role.

What the work leans on

For our client who has one of the biggest names within the HGV industry. As an HGV Class 1 Driver you will be responsible for:- Trunking, general haulage and store deliveries.

Where the technical work sits

• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness.
• Understand and be able to comply with the driver's hours and WTD legislation.
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Technical requirements

• You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho cards and have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience with no more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions.
• With the latest vehicles on the market, this gives you the best HGV experience and a top-range vehicle to work with!
• Ability to manage long-haul or overnight driving responsibilities reliably.
