What the role involves

• Working closely with the transport team to ensure smooth operations.

Skills and requirements

• You should hold a valid C+E Licence and ideally have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience (We will consider New Pass Drivers).
• No more than 6 points and no DD/ DR Code convictions.
• Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly.
• Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements.

Confirmed role details

• We are recruiting permanent HGV Class 1 drivers to join us at our depot in Warrington to support our General Haulage operation, completing store and RDC deliveries across the regio.
• We have increased our pay rates, with rates now ranging from £14.60 to £18.41 per hour, depending on shift – giving you even more reason to build your driving career with us.
• Mon-Fri Days - £14.60 per hour.
• On top of base salary our HGV Drivers will be entitled to £5 per shift tax-free meal allowance, and £25 per night out tax-free allowance (if applicable).
